I've been with my boyfriend 8 months and everything is perfect. Except when we have sex I don't really get the same feeling as what you see on TV. like all instantly feeling amazing. And to be honest I've never really had it. I enjoy the intimacy. But I cant really feel it I suppose. Is there something wrong with me, or am I doing it wrong? And please don't make any sarcastic comments like I have a bucket. It doesn't help and I don't.

TV - and many books, and films, and especially porn - lie!

It's a bit like the way people in soaps are forever getting murdered or being kidnapped by aliens or anything else the writers thinks will keep viewers interested and get ratings. It doesn't reflect reality.

So while sex can be amazing, it's not all the time, and rarely 'instantly' every time.

Enjoy the intimacy, and if there is something that makes you feel amazing, or just very good, make sure you get to do that too.

I kinda know how you feel.

I really like sex because of the closeness of it and i love my boyfriend but i cant feel anything, especially if im soaking wet.

No one in real life feels amazing straight away. Women in particular need foreplay to feel good during sex. Don't believe everything you see on TV or in movies because most of it isn't even representative of real life.

Sex can feel different, physically and emotionally, in different positions. What happens if you have your legs together or rub against his pubic bone, for example?
