At the moment i'm almost finished my first year of a computer animation degree at Bournemouth uni, but decided that i don't like the course, aside from being horrendously organised, it's far to technical, (maths equivelent of further a level when i havent done maths since GCSE, and programming ) plus I don't enjoy any of the units.
I want to change to a business degree, they offered me a place on the business studies degree at Bournemouth, but i'm not sure about the course or it's reputation it's sounds okay but if i can do better i feel like i should try. The issue here is that i would have to take a year out and apply for september 2014 the only jobs i can get are shop jobs or call centres, i'm looking for something more worthwhile in a business or something but you need experience usually or a degree.
I know i can apply via clearing, but i think Bournemouth will be better than the ones available. The really good courses won't be there.
My A level grades were:
A* Business Studies
A* Graphic Communication
B in English language and literature
and a B in AS Archaeology
Ideally I would like to apply to some of the best, so: Bath, Warwick, Loughborough, exeter
Hopefully my grades and subjects would be okay. The issue is that would changing course and a year working affect my chances?
I only want to take this chance if it will be worth it so can anyone give me their opinions, all comments will be very useful
...or just paranoid?
