So its that time of year again, the time of anxiety and nerves leading up to your exam and the time of panic and worry afterwards..
Sometimes, its down to the fact that honestly, you should have worked harder, but for the majority, you have worked extremely hard! you know all the notes, the techniques, the texts the formulas, the rules...EVERYTHING!
You sit down, open the paper and...bleugh....the exam is on a microscopic topic in the grand scheme of things or you get chucked a question which doesn't really fit...or a topic which you just draw a blank mind to.
You will check with your friends afterwards, how they did, what questions and ideas did they discuss, you may then progress to look on TSR and see what others have wrote...
But, lets keep it realistic. Yes, you may be disappointed with your performance, annoyed that you didn't write something you knew, frustrated about a 'good idea' your friend or someone else wrote for the same question...but to be honest, what can you do?
The exam is over. You cant rewind time and change it, (I wish!) so the next step is to adapt a positive frame of mind. Accept that it is over and done with, move onto the next exam or simply put it behind you. Guaranteed, it is hard, when you feel you have let yourself down, but there is no point in worrying, or comparing yourself to others. You will only make yourself feel worse.
So chin up, smile, carry on...As bad as it may seem, it is honestly not the end of the world. Take an optimistic attitude forward and know that what will be, will be.
It's Exam Season Again...Remember, its over. You cant change it, stop fretting... Watch
