How do we solve the last part? I made the parametric equation for line l, and made 2 equations for the perpendicular distances from m and n and solved for λ but I only got one value of λ. Apparently you're supposed to get 2 to find 2 points.. am I doing something wrong?

    Help would be really appreciated.

Without seeing your working, it's impossible to say, but I'd guess that at some point you removed the modulus sign, and if so, you'd get two possibilities +/-.

Yeah that was exactly it. Thanks.
