I want to get my first smartphone, and I think I want to get the Samsung Galaxy Ace.

I just want to know, is it any good? Does anybody have it? Like I said, it'll be my first smartphone, I'm on a budget, and I only really need it for the internet, texting and making calls, so nothing fancy. Plus I really wanted a phone that looked nice

And which colour is better, white or black? I'll do a poll.

    Thank you!!

No, it's quite outdated by today's standards and if you plan to use it for modern day smartphone things you'll find yourself very limited as to what you can actually do.

Your links don't work so i don't know if you meant PAYG or contract.

    What's your budget?
    Mins/texts/data allowance?
    Preferred networks?

It's really old now. I don't know why the mobile networks are still selling it for as much as they are. You'll be annoyed by the tech limitations after a while (it having hardly any space for apps being a big one).

For the money you could get a HTC Desire C, Nokia Lumia or Sony Xperia. There's a Galaxy Ace II as well which irons out some of the kinks from the earlier version.
