May I propose that the highlighted posts in "who quoted me" have the possibility of being "marked as unread"? It'd be really helpful for people that have multiple discussions simultaneously and either accidentally view a post in thread or view it but will reply some other day.

I don't understand, it already does? There is a tick next to each one to mark as read/unread.

    :erm:...no there isn't.

At present, it changes automatically if you view the post. But if you view it by accident, etc. then you can't un-tick it. This is what I am proposing.

Ohhh! Right I see now. Hmm, yeah that would be useful. Maybe, clicking on the tick to make it unread and clicking again to make it read or something?

Yes, as long as it's fairly simple and serves its purpose.
    It would be incredibly useful.

    And what about the app?
Its a good app but to see "Who quoted me" is only possible through the comp. Even Tapatalk doesn't have it

Idk what tapatalk is, but yes, who quoted me has been long suggested for the app.

Tapatalk is the forum reader app on which the TSR app is based. Incorporating "who quoted me" functionality into the TSR app would require specific dev work, but I know that it's a heavily-requested feature so hopefully is on the list of features to be considered for implementation in due course.

Oooookay cool. Ah, so that's why it's seemingly more difficult. Hopefully it'll come along soon.

But I'd expect the website modification proposed above to be easier??

I can't really say for certain, but at a guess I'd agree with you.

I was told to make this thread separately by a mod in the forum design thread.
I assume the forum developers don't need further notification (they will probably just notice it when browsing the sub-forum, right)?

Yep, I believe that the community team (who direct development work) actively read this forum.
