Waxing'll usually leave you with no hair whatsoever while shaving normally leaves a stubble so there's an obvious advantage to using wax. On the other hand waxing tends to be quite painful and can be dangerous if you've got a "gung ho" mentality. Treated with respect it should yield far better results than shaving, regardless of the area it's used upon.

Immac changed its name to veet after growing to the point where it was selling on the European market as far as I know.

They make stuff for this:

Don't use your regular leg-hair stuff on it, different hair type.

great link thank you MisterJ lol made me laugh in places what with the mentioning of any "smarting" and in block captitals "NEVER LEAVE ON FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES!!!!" guess thats when you start to disolve

What got me was this
In case of ingestion, consult a doctor immediately and show the package.
Have fun explaining to a doctor how you got hair removal cream for a bikini line in your mouth. Unless you have a very impatient bf.

I've used both in the past, never tried waxing, I'm too much of a wimp. I found shaving better tbh, simply because veet is so messy, veet prob lasts a lil longer before you have to do it again though. Do make sure you use the bikini line stuff if you decide to do it and patch test it somewhere a little less sensitive first

Depends how much you want to whip off really...
I mean, you're not really supposed to get Veet on your sensitive lady parts, so it's not ideal for getting into all the crevices :-\
Shaving is a pain in the arse but it's quick and painless and relatively easy.
I'd wax but it only lasts about a week for me so it's not really worth the money and the pain.

I make the wax at home and i do the waxing myself. (if anyone wants to know how to make it at home, just ask me) I have also tried shaving, and by far waxing is better and thus worth the pain. Just ripping off one wax strip and all the hair is gone on one side!

lol how do you make your wonderful concoction?

Shaving v waxing v dissolving - let's ask the hottest young woman of 1999's big-selling movies:

Nadia: "I believe "shaved" is the expression."

When me and my sister were younger and on holiday we mistook mum's hair removal cream for toothpaste (similiar tube!) and brushed our teeth with it. Mum couldn't understand why we were complaining that we didn't like the taste of the new toothpaste...

Shave - it's quick, easy and cheap. Plus, I don't like the idea of putting weird creams down there!

how do you?

i find with waxing though it can also be messy and sticky. And youve gotto wait till it grows more than a couple of cm to wax it again

hey. I am a guy and I usually just trim, but that needs doing so often. If you wax it all off does it grow back thinner and less thickly each time? If so I might wanna try Marie's homemade remedy.

What do you make it with then Marie05? x

You can buy Brazilian hard wax at Boots for not much money with loads of wax and the warming thing

I find doing it myself is much easier, you can go at your own pace! Pop a neurofen/paracetomol or 2 15-20mins before and it is painless on the top and slightly less painful down below.

The hard wax is great, no sticky mess. You use a spatula to put it on and then let it dry like candle wax, pick at the edge then pull it off. It gets rid of hair really well and doesnt leave sticky residue on your skin. A little also goes a long way. Its also slightly easier to shape and control than sticky wax. I have been to a salon and personally my £25(?) i paid for the brazilian kit has gone a long way value for money wise.
I higly recommend!

No waxed hairs grow back even thicker. Personally i prefer shaving over waxing or creams.

Hair grows back more thinly compared with shaving and less quickly if you remove the root (no sharp edge to the hair), and sometimes not at all.
