    I'm assuming History's well respected, though I don't really see why it should matter that much. If you enjoy it, take it.

    Yes you should - History is probably the subject I enjoy the most although some elements can prove to be a lil bit hard...I hear the AQA syllabus/exam structure is easier than OCR so you're lucky in that respect

    Sorry i do edexcel but i can confidently say it's well respected. But taking that part aside - you must do history. Although i won't be reading it at University ( ) i can say it's been the most stimulating and thought provoking subject i've studied so far. I love it to bits

    Yes it's really interesting, and it will give you a range of careers - depending of course on what you combine it with. I know a lot of people who have combined Classics and History and they go together well (if you like writing essays!). Plus, if you think that you may go on to study a humanities subject at university, many places prefer that you've studied a related discipline at A-level.
