bio oil from boots, about 8 quid? takes some time but definitely helps the fading process along its way!

Is there anything a little bit quicker and maybe a bit cheaper?

They will probably fade abit of their own accord anyway, it depends how bad they are. There won't be anything which will make them fade really quickly, it will take time. You can use make up/concealers etc to help cover them up now.

Bio Oil is worth trying, it is really good on all scars. It is quite a big bottle and you don't need much at a time so it will last for ages. I used it on a scar had from an operation and it really helped to fade that, it is obviously alot deeper than acne scars so hasnt gone totally, but it has faded it alot. A friend has used it on acne scars and it seems to be helping her with them. It will probably take a month or so to start seeing any improvement, but I doubt you will find anything which will work quickly.
yeh bio-oils a good choice

also, as for cover up - i guess concealers dont do the job very well? i used to use this coverup called Veil Cover Cream. its heavy duty concealer - people use it to cover scars/burns/tattoos etc. It really works well, and theyve got lots of shades. Its quite hard to find but its definately worth it
co co butter.
commonly used on stretch marks to make them fade white.
i used it on other scars and most people don't see them no more

Vitamin E oil helps reduce scar tissue. There are products such as Mederma available too...that might be a USA-only product, but there must be something similar in the UK. Have a look around Boots...

Like that time you wrestled a lion? Oh and that shrapnel wound from the war. Yeah, you don't want to lose those ones.

Like that time I sliced my finger open on a PC. Oh and that time i fell off a delapadated building and the wall fell on top of me.
Theres a link [here] about self-harm scar reduction. I would imagine that the products may be pretty similar.

It may not hurt seeing your doctor, either.
