well ok, maybe it depends on the guy, the guys i've known with them weren't all that nice but personally i think my bf would look good with one, sadly he hates piercings. which is the reason why i haven't got my lip pierced even though ive wanted it done for 5 years now :hmpf:

I find that side lip piercings suit guys better whilst centre lip rings suit girls more (me havign a centre one myself :biggrin:

)
My bf is considering getting it done on the side which is good otherwise there'll be alot of metal clunking whenever we kiss if he gets a cente lip ring :rolleyes:

Yeah if it gets caught,I could imagien it to be really painful! although i prefer for lip piercings to get caught rather than *ahem* more intimate piercings to get caught! ( i don't have any intimate piercings but i would imagine skin ripping would hurt..yeeeeeeowch!!!! :eek:

I never kissed a guy with a lip piercing before..but my sister have....grrr!

Depends on the guy but generally no, you have to have a certain quality and style that most men don't have to pull it off, and on anyone over say the age of 21 it justl ooks ridiculous

I got caught on my boyfriend once...Not as painful as you'd imagine, and quite amusing. He also once managed to kiss me on the forehead and stab me in the eye simultaneously (he has a spike) :cool:

On alternative looking guys with stubble: yes please, every guy should have one. Stud if it's in the middle or ring on the side...Or maybe both *melts*...On any other bloke, no thankyou.

lip piercings on guys should stay in the emo or goth world, they look completely UN-masculine

I used to have a labaret but it got stuck in my lip and no piercer could get it out so they had to cut it off in the end, but it looked great.

My mate Tom has one as well, and he's a 26 year old thrash metallist and it looks great on him. It is all about the style of the guy.

Oh, and MessedUp, I reckon you'd look great with one too, just a pity about the boyfriend
