If there is a thread for this already, feel free to shut me down, but it's never too early to stick this up...right?

I'm starting to look at MA/Postgrad courses in Acting. I've took a look on the Drama UK website and have a few places that I would love to apply to:

MA in Acting - RWCMD (Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama)
One Year Course - Drama Studio London
Postgraduate Acting - ALRA
MA in Acting - BSA (Birmingham School of Acting)
MA in Acting - Guildhall School of Music and Drama

Would love to hear any experiences from people who have applied to these type of courses! I've started looking at monologues and started to save up my little audition fee fund (students need all the help they can get! haha!)

Feel free to come and check about auditioning for BA courses and stage management applications too! We're all family struggling for a place!

Hey, there is a thread for 2013 but not 2014.

I’m starting to prep too for my chosen schools which are;

East 15 - Acting foundation
Rose burford -Acting BA
Bristol Old Vic Theatre - Acting BA
LAMDA - Acting BA

Just wondering if any one has any information or advice on these schools. wither it is accommodation, environment , course content or opinions.

Thanks

Here's a Top 15 best drama schools in the UK list for you.

I'd go for either RADA, LAMDA or GSMD if you have these choices.

Good luck with your application process and auditions. It's going to be tough

Hi there, I'm also applying this year to RADA, LAMDA, Guildhall, Italia Conti, RCS, Manchester Met and possibley central for their BA Acting courses. I have a query though, is anyone applying for foundation courses and is it a helpful option for trying to get into Drama Schools???

I attended the East 15 Foundation Course and it was phenomenal. If you put the work in there, the payoff can be massive. there were 49 people on the course, and around 30-35 of them are now on full 3-year courses at drama schools. I'm now at Central myself - also brilliant.

I'd apply as early as possible. Some (but not all) schools fill up as the year goes on.

Anyone who applies gets the chance to audition. There is no limit on applicants.
