Getting an Error message when using the OU CDrom software for Block 2

Director player 5.0 need more than 3mb for virtual memory to run this but Win2000 there is no
virtual memory setting it is control by the pagefile

Any ideas anyone

Same problem with Dorling Kindersley Learning Ladder I bought for my 3 year old. This happens on both Win 2000 and Win XP. I'll post back here if I find a solution, in the meantime, I would be grateful if you could do the same if you have found a solution yourself.

It appears to be due to the amount of RAM installed in your system. I do not know what the exact threshold is, but above a certain amount and it gives the error message that it requires at least 3MB of virtual memory to run. I experienced this error on a PII system with 194MB RAM. When I removed the 128MB DIMM, leaving only 64MB, the error disappeared. (The game still didn't work as it complained of not being able to find some files, but seemed to work otherwise).
