quick question on an FP2 sum

Untitled.jpg

Don't worry about part (a) I get that, but could someone explain why you have to half the sum in part (b)?

I got 20861 \frac{20}{861} but in the mark scheme they half all of it

The mark scheme is wrong - you can see they've introduced an extra factor of 1/2.
