Where can I get my coppers and coins changed in to notes?

Hey, I've just checked my copper jar and I have about 40 pounds in change. Where can I get this converted in to notes? The coinstar machine in Asda charges apparantly, and doesn't it only give you a voucher to use in store anyway? Thanks x
Take it to a bank.
The bank, they give you little plastic money bags which you have to count the coins in to and then they swap them for notes

Oh I got told there was a limit of ten pound at Santander (my bank) but I'll go in and ask for some money bags anyway. Thanks:smile:
I've always done it at the Post Office, been about 3 years since I did it last but I'm assuming you can still do it?

Even if there is, get the bags, sort it out and hand it over at any bank you pass. There are plenty of branches on a high street. You can do it in four goes.
