Employability Of BSc Econ Degree

I would like to know how employable is the degree for international students. Which companies or banks usually hire these graduates and are they employable immediately after graduation?

These are the official stats for employability http://unistats.ac.uk/subjects/employment/10007798-287

However, employability for you personally will depend on things such as
- internships
- part time jobs, society membership etc. and the transferable skills that you have gained
- your degree classification - most graduate employers want a 2:1.
- your visa status

Most people are employable immediately after graduation, but they will need to have spent time during their time at university doing things other than their degree. If you haven't, then you will have a very thin CV and no evidence that you can do anything other than academic work.

As for precisely which employers take on Manchester economics graduates, to cut a (very) long story short, there is no employer who will reject you because you went to Manchester. There are a couple of TSR forums that can help you though

You should also have a look on the websites of major employers that you think you might be interested in and see what they require from their graduates.
