Male Pubic Hair

Should men ever trim their pubic hair, or should they just leave it be? Because i was talking to my friend the other day and i have never ever trimmed my pubic hair, and just let it be, yet he says he trims his pubic hair. So i am not too sure what i am meant to do, trim it or not?
And if i am meant to trim it, then by how much etc, as i really wouldnt know what i would be doing!

Do whatever makes you feel good... If it's becoming a problem, then go for it... If you're perfectly happy with everything as it is, then leave it be.

Although I wouldn't recommend you go as far as shaving. I've heard all kinds of nightmare stories from people that've been brave (or daft) enough to shave it all off.

Depends how bad it gets I suppose. You have to keep it trimmed, for the purpose of not catching the hairs on anything if nothing else! In my case (no gf, and not likely to get one for a while) It can be acceptable to go au natural for a while, but it still ends up a bit unweildy lol Anon wasn't far off what I do on occassion, when I can't be bothered with trimming actually!

It'll itch the first time you trim, but it's worth it (esp. if you gain an optical inch, which is always an ego boost!) I trim it just till it looks passable. No need to do anything fancy...

Yea ok i will give it a trim then as i have just started seeing this girl. So, what do you reckon, how do i go about trimming it, and by trimming, what is a passable standard as i have no idea?

So you can see your knob, and grab a hold of it without also grabbing a clump of your pubic thatch! lol!

Seriously though, depends on who you are, as to what you can get away with. If you have steady hands, use scissors, but be very careful... Trim the main thatch back, so it looks something in proportion. Hard to explain... Like, I have quite long head hair, so I can arguably get away with longer hair downstairs too (also having no gf heh) Whatever you do, don't forget secondary areas i.e. ballbag, and the areas where your legs join the bottom of your torso.

Hi I trim my pubic hair. And it makes your knob look bigger which is always good and having a great big clump of hair above it ia always a bit of a turn off for girls!!

Get a pair or sharp scissors and start to trim it off being carful not to cut your bits and bobs!! lol

Its better trimmed mate!!

Leave a little length I'd say, unless you're not planning on anyone seeing it for a while. Maybe a couple of cms?

The best thing to do is tidy it up, take some off, and see how it looks. Take a little more off if you think it'd look ok. Repeat until you're happy with it. Just don't have any bald patches :wink:

How big is your knob? Cause if its big then you may not need to trim it back that much and if its slightly on the smaller size then trim some xtra off!!

Why do people post about stuff like this? Seriously, does it even MATTER? Just do what you feel like doing. I wouldn't be surprised if i saw another thread in here about a male saying 'How to cut nails'.

just cut till your happy, i think its fairly normal to trim. just make sure u dont miss random tuffs and id recommend doing it in the shower for easy cleaning up. its really pretty simple.
and oh yeah, be careful!
