How much do you drink when you go out?

i'm asking this because i'm getting a bit worried about my alcohol consumption when going down the pub and at parties and stuff.

It depends. The other night I had 3 glasses of wine down the pub and then a couple of alcopops in a club (they tasted like mutant ribena, but were cheap). I'm a girl and quite small though, so that gets me pretty out of it. Depending on how hardcore the night I'd have a bit more - that sort of amount's pretty average for me anyway.

Well, to be honest I rarely drink when I go out, and if I do it'll only be one or two drinks (never amounting to more than a couple of units).

Who knows, that could very well change when I go to uni, but as it is I'm not a very heavy drinker at all.

If i'm not driving anywhere really between 5-7 pints, althouhg have been known to drink more.

Don't really do it that often though, not a pub person myself, once a fortnight or so usually.

Mine you, when the festival times come, i really do let myself go (apart from last year at V when i felt ill the whole weekend). I dread to think how much we get through on that weekend, but between 4 of us we usually get through three 24's plus whatever gets drunk in the arena. So yeah, probably best not to add it up, live life while you can :biggrin:

Last night was a light session

4 bottles of Brahma - 7.2 units in total
1 vodka and coke - 2 units
1 pint 5% lager - 2.5 units
3 cans of 1664 (5% 2.5 units per can) - 7.5 units

That is 19.2 units and I didn't think I had a lot to drink :eek

I was feeling quite ill today though.

It depends where I am. If I'm in my local with my mates I'll only have a few, say 4-5 pints, but I tend to lose count when I'm in town or at a gig.
*Edit* Last night, for example, I went down to the Tuns and had 4 bottles of brown ale. That's about normal for me, don't like getting hammered.

We went out on friday night and i drank a ridiculous amount, i spent 17 quid so its not too bad, i was buying vodka and lemonades, but my rich housemate brought me a few drinks to, so throughout the night and at home i had:

3 bottles Stella,
4 pints Vodka and lemonade (about 10 shots of vodka)
10 vodka and lemonades
1 sambuca shot,
All but one glass of 2 bottles of champagne.

That was spread between 9pm and 3am, not a bad effort :biggrin:

was pretty ill before we started, but i lasted the night so was pleased about that - was sick in a tree on the way home though!

I think thats about 25.5 units before the champagne, no idea how much a glass of that is but i would assume a unit per 150ml, which would take it to about 19 units, so about 45 units. Thats about an average night out for me, i was very drunk though!

TOO MUCH. yesterday me and my 2 friends consumed a litre of pimms and a litre of vodka. ouch! i hurt ALOT today. But it also depends on the occasion, how much i've eaten etc

My friday night drinking came out to 68.8 units using that thing. :eek:

The guidelines recomend 3 - 4 units a day. :biggrin:

a lot, but its hard to keep track or remember keeping track after a while :P

umm, the most ive had recently was drinking half a bottle of absinth with a m8, 5ish shots of sambuka, couple of pints, and about 5ish shots of vodka/tequila.

Generally on a night out I would have probably 5 or 6 drinks, usually vodka and lemonade or vodka and orange juice. Depends though, if I have a couple of shots I will have less drinks. I'm quite a lightweight so it doesn't take too much for me to get quite drunk.

Usually about 4-7 pints. Don't want to get too smashed, especially if in town as won't get into places if they think your too drunk.

it really depends for me, yesterday i had quite a lot, but sometimes i'll go out and drink 3 vodka and cokes all night- it really depends, on whether i can be bothered, what im drinking, who i'm drinking with... :smile:

On a fairly heavy night out, i reckon 20-25 units.

But i generally just drink as much i feel comfortable with.

Not that much to be honest! I used to be a bit of a heavy drinker and would drink much more than the majority of my friends but, having experienced one too many hangovers, have toned down my drinking somewhat!

Now, it's normally three to four pints at the most.

depends if im in a pub usually between 3-4 half pints of fosters and blackcurrant. if im out with friends, and am looking to get seriously pissed, for example, last nights drinking was:

2 pints of fosters with blackcurrant, 3 double baileys with ice, 4 shots of sambuca, double vodka with redbull (well i wont be drinking that much again lol! i woke my whole house up giggling for no reason!)
