Dry Toes!!

Yeah! Sorry about the odd (& slightly discusting) sounding thread title!

For the last year or two, two or three toes on my left foot have got really flakey skin inbetween a little bit like excema. It gets really itchy when my feet get hot, like when I'm in bed. It's pretty manky! I'm almost positive its not athletes foot as it hasn't spread (which I think it would do....) & most of the time its dry skin. I've tried putting mild moisturiser on them but that just makes my toes even more itchy.

Any advice?

u may need a much stronger cream with medical stuff in

athlete's foot doesn't always spread. sometimes it's just between two toes, in just the one place. just get some anti-fungal cream as it sounds exactly like tinea x x x

It puzzles me how little threads like this there are!! Well, you're in good company l've had similar problems ever since i was about 9. Even if it's not technically 'Athletes foot' l would advise you to treat it like it is. Mysill powder/spray is normally good at keeping it at bay, but the best is the oral medication you can take (just trust me).

And a few questions...

What are your toenails like?? Are they soft/yellow/brittle???

How much work do your feet do?? I have cerebral palsy (probably quite severe for a walker) therefore my feet get treated like ****, bashed around and slammed down all the time, which makes them very 'clammy'...That never helps!
