Hey, about a month ago I went to the doctors and was checked for testicular cancer after a pain persisted for 5 days around Easter time. It was a groin pain on the left side, and one night I thought I discovered a lump. Got checked out, and the doctor after examining said he could find nothing, and to just wait, and the pain would go. If it didnt to go see him. The pain did go away within a week, making me think id pulled a muscle.
I however, since going back to uni have found the pain has returned in a sense... Though now its more down the inside of my thigh than around my left testicle, where I found the presumed lump. So being a worrier, I started checking again, and recently feel I found another lump, though it could be the epidymis joining point to the testicle. It feels like a squishy little ball attacked to the testicle and what feels like it COULD be a tubing that obviously leads away from the scrotum. I think I can feel it on the other side... It feels like on top of the left testicle its about the size of an earphone earpiece thingy, bit smaller.
Is this the epidymis, cos it feels like its on both sides... Im just worried now the doctor might have missed something, he didnt even seem to feel I needed a scan, just decided after examination there was nothing.
I feel this worrying is in vain, and that like one of you will no doubt tell me, the doctor realised it was the epidymis I was thinking was a lump...
Hopefully someone here can put my mind to rest.
