general illness

ok today i feel generally crap; rundown, sore throat, slightly sick etc nothing serious but not great. However it's my last chance to have fun with my uni friends today as i leave on saturday and i also have exams at end of week which i intend to start revising for tomorow. So what i need is peoples advice on how to make myself feel better in about 5 hours. think of it as a challenge. I pretty much never get ill so i really have no clue about quick fixes, thus any advice from more regularly sickly people would be very very welcome

Hah well I wouldn't call myself more regularly sickly, but whenever I feel a cold coming on I make it my mission to drink loads of orange juice (none of this concentrate rubbish, proper orange juice) and eat oranges. Basically, lots of vitamin C! I start taking multivitamins too just for an extra boost. You can also get tablets that dissolve into water to give you an immune boosting drink (which tastes vile but works).

Avoid junk food or anything that's going to make you feel sluggish and horrible and eat lots of fresh food. Might want to make yourself a big bowl of pasta or something befoer you go out - something stodgy that will fill your stomach up and give you some energy.
GET A GLASS, AND SOME WHISKY, NOW POUR 5CMS OF WHISKY IN THE GLASS, PUT A MUG OF LEMONADE IN THE MICROWAVE (DON'T LEAVE TOO LONG, 1 1/2 MINS PLENTY) THEN POUR WHISKY INTO LEMONADE.

dOES THE TRICK EVERYTIME. TRUST ME.

(p.s you may sleep better tonight as well, when you go to sleep!)
