So what did you actually manage to write about that??
Sorry, only just saw your post. I did: -bacteria (like cholera) as a cause of disease, along with viruses (HIV) and fungi (the only example I could think of was athletes foot O.o) and how it occurs in plants as well as humans/animals (potato blight) -use of DNA from bacteria and viruses in gene therapy -mutualism between bacteria and humans/animals/plants (used endosymbiotic theory as an extra-curricular, and mentioned bacteria in the stomach) -mutualism between bacteria and plants in the nitrogen cycle (nitrogen fixers in the root nodules of some plants and nitrifying bacteria producing nitrates from nitrites and nitrites from ammonia which is produced by ammonifiers breaking down proteins of dead plants by extra-cellular digestion) -competition (intraspecific and interspecific) -intensive farming by humans of crops and farm-animals -reproduction (with epigenetics as another extra-curricular) -courtship behaviour -impact of humans on global climate and the affect this has on plants/animals -societal pressures in humans which effect behaviour and potentially lead to over-eating/smoking etc which leads to things like heart disease and lung cancer.
But there's a tonne I missed out and I'm really worried about it.
