Why is it that Girls like arrogant men?

I would consider it unattractive if I saw a really arrogant man. But some of my friends say they like it.

I like confidence in a man but not arrogance.

Maybe I'm weird.

Also, what is confidence?

Is it just being loud?

Being quietly self assured?

Being argumentative????????

I am so out of touch these days. A bit like the Pussycat Dolls being on heroin and crack etc.

I only find arrogance attractive when it's joked about. If a guy is arrogant in a jokey way then that's fine, it can be a laugh, but generally I'd much prefer someone confident than arrogant.

I'd say confident is being sure of themselves without being arrogant. Confidence doesnt make you argumentative or loud, it just means that you aren't nervous about yourself or situations you find yourself in.

Arrogance is such a turn off! It can make an incredibly fit guy suddenly appear incredibly unattractive.

Take Sezer from BB for example....now HE was a fitty...but a ****** to go with it.

More generally, it's kind of sad how people pay so little attention to integrity in a partner. Human nature I s'pose, but I'd like to think a persons integrity was a large part of what made them attractive to me

I do like arrogance...it's nothing about controlling or changing them because it isn't a trait you'd look for in a serious long term relationship. However for the odd fling its sexy, he's not gonna get too attached, you can't cos he still disguists you in his total arrogance...BUT you know he's gonna be a great lay.

As for the arrogance thing it's to do with power, girls do like to feel safe and protected sometimes and someone that is very arrogant gives off the impression that they are powerful and can look after them.

I hate arrogance. Even (over-)confident people are frowned upon. I like it when guys feel insecure.

In my experience arrogant people are arrogant for a reason, if you have girls telling you you're hot all the time, then you're going to know you are hot, which ultimately leads to arrogance :p:
