well, in Armenian Folklore, we have a very famous character called Sasuntsi Davit. its a very interesting story, but i won't go into detail as it is a poem 4 books long.

the name Sasuntsi Davit translates to Davit of Sasun. but it doesn't sound as kool as it does in armenian so i put my nickname as SasunD. also because in some armenian forums the name or variations of it are already taken.

the pic i will attach, is a still from an animation im working on, which hasn't really taken off yet. but when i get some free time, i will try and finish it (start it).

I just want to see who already knows where my username comes from - I always think its very obvious but loads of people never notice it.

I only originally intended to post a couple of times so just thought of a username relating to the Green Day song I was listening to at the time. I did really like that song, but now think it has become over-played.

A 'pig in a poke' is something of questionable value, such as myself.
Scottish saying isn't it? I'm told it means "Pig in a bag" or somthing of that sort.

Anyway, mines from a seal song

Scottish and northern in general I think. Used as in the phrase "Man United's new signing is rubbish. They've bought a pig in a poke!" Its second only to my favourite phrase, "there's a rabbit away".
My personal faves are sarcastic phrases such as the sublime: "Is the pope a catholic" and "Does a bear **** in the woods."

Mine is a corruption of my (fairly obvious) real name, that my mad art teacher called me one day. I decided it was prettier than my real name, and slightly more unusual, so I adopted it for online use.

For anyone who's wondering (cos nobody ever seems to know) it's pronounced Hel-ay-neea.

Because I love cats and kittens. I thought the homegrown bit sounded cool, even if it did have connotations of drug use (which i dont use btw)

i LOVE your avatar- it's so appropriate to this forum as well!

My name byakugan_neji derives from the anime Naruto. There's a character called Hyuuga Neji from the Hyuuga clan. He's an excellent fighter and has mastered the Jyuuken Gentle Fist fighting style, which allows him to use his own chakra to damage any of the opponent's 64 tenkensus (chakra points) and thus, disable their chakra flow and make them unable to use their jutsu. One inherited ability of the Hyuuga clan is the Byakugan (roughly translated as White Eyes) which not only gives them 360 degrees vision but allows them to see through peoples' bodies. This is how they know where their tenketsus are.

So therefore, that's how I came up with my username. Byakugan + Neji = byakugan_neji

Of course, I wouldn't expect anyone to understand all of this, except Egan1.
