Next year I'll be doing AS History (early) on OCR, and I can't find the text book anywhere. AS consists of the following units:

Unit 1: Historical explanations: the Tudor finale, the reign of queen Elizabeth 1558-1603

Unit 2: using historical evidence: the Italian renaissance 1420-1550.

Thank you!

I did OCR history and we didn't have any text books directly from OCR, they might not make them at all, I'm not sure. We used Access to History books on the era we were studying.

I have written a textbook on Elizabeth for my students. You can purchase it via Amazon. Incidentally, I am an OCR Spec B examiner.

I did AS history last year (currently studying A2) and studied the Tudor Finale. We used The Reign of Elizabeth: England 1558-1603 by Barbara Mervyn for OCR. It covers most of the topics and is really easy to use.
Hope this helps.
