scars/marks on my legs from eczema rashes

ok,for the past couple of years i had quite bad rashes on my legs from my ezcema, the rashes have only cleared up about 6 months ago but i still have marks on my legs, under the skin where the rashes were, so there are patches of kinda redish and purple marks on my legs,i was told they would fade away eventually but i want to be able to wear skirts without having to wear tights all the time,
has anyone else had this problem and can anyone recommend the best way to get rid of the marks?all helpful advice appreciated!!

[Scar reduction methods]

Its more for self-harmers, but I'm sure they will work for any type of scars =)
Be thankful you dont have it other places like me.

i WISH i only had it on my legs.

Bio-oil (Boots £8.95) and cocoa butter formula (Boots £4.99-ish) are both good for scar reduction - although it may take some time.

For instant redness reduction, toothpaste or honey is apparantly good for scars.

Aloe vera works a treat. Buy a plant and cut the leaves open and squeeze tha sap out. Just don't put your fingers in your mouth after - that stuff tastes really bad!!!

I can vouch for the cocoa butter. I suffered from eczema quite a lot as a child and it's cleared up a treat..!

Did you use anything in particular to get rid of your eczema? I have it on my legs at the mo. and although I've decided that i don't care anymore what other people think, it would be nice to get rid of the itchyness. x

Has your Dr ever given you Eumavate? That works really well for me.
