Oh my God, I'm rubbish at A&P!!! I'm sticking to Psychology :p: A good idea might be to buy the revision book from last year - it's got all the things you need to know and will be a lot more relevant than any websites, especially as there are no good ones for OCR PE!

or the revision book (cheaper but still includes relevant info)

What do you think might come up this year? I hope the Exercise Phys includes ATP and energy systems, but not periodisation of training... I hate that!!!

^^ There is always at least one question on one of the energy systems...

I think Sliding Filament theory will come up, and also a longer question on aerobic respiration.

(that's only me guessing from past papers though)

the sliding filament theory isn't on the syllabus anymore!! you only need it for biology nowadays!!

and i've already decided i'm doing socio-contempory question.. it seems a hell of a lot more straightforward to me!!
I'm finding it so hard remembering everything!!! I always thought Exercise Phys was the hardest and I've learned everything really well, but History and Psych isn't going too well :frown: I'm alright with the Popular/Rational Rec, it's just the school PT programmes that get me

I'm going to do the Psychology question in the Synoptic - I'm hopeless at A&P, even though I'm alright at Exercise Phys, and I can't remember Contemp Issues, although it's mostly common knowledge! I've come one here for a quick break!!

:top:GOOD LUCK EVERYONE TAKING THIS TODAY!!! :top:
^^ yea good luck everyone. ive given up revisign for it now lol. can't be arsed!!
The more I try to revise, the more it seems to go out my head! I've come to the decision that I either know or don;t know it, and if I don't know it know I won't be able to learn it quickly!!! :p:
^^ how did you find it?

i thought it was pretty straight forward except the psychology where i realsied half way through hen i only had 15 mins left that i should have done the other question cos i could remember more!!

most people i spoke to do hist Q because it was most straight forward synoptic although i don't remember doing sponsorship since gcse!!
i did edexcel.

2 synoptics one in each paper but you could write about stuff from the other units, as it is a synoptic. i did mine on technology and feedback, and how sport is used for recognition, reconciliation and protest. i think i smakced the essays, just the psychology part i proper proper messed up!! i hope i do well, i need a B is this and only got a C at AS.

I thought it was ok, did the contemp - history. Loved the history part, thought 13 marks on sponsorship was a bit tough but other than that it wasn't too bad. Hope it went well for all! em x
i did edexecel and thought the questions were surprisingly nice specially the cultures ones. Synoptic was alright how much did everyone write for synoptic?
i swear some of the questions on the social trends north america were the same as previous years! i thought i got an old paper when i looked at them.

for synoptic we were told to write about 2 side, but i wrote three with my mahusive illegible hand writing!

Are you sure it's not on the Edexcel unit 6 syllabus?

If it's not, there are gonna be some major repercussion at my school!

yeah i was looking at my past papers when i got home and there were like 2 questions from a paper from like 2002 or 2003. I thought they were pretty good i mean define the ethics thats a wiked questions and little league. The only one i was a bit iffy on was the one bout high school sport and the local community lol starting rambling on bout how everyone enjoys going to the games and seeing their teams win and stuff like that. Yeah i wrote bout 3 sides for synoptic lol my handwriting was appauling too, lotsa crossing out too specially in my first synoptic. Which questions did you choose? I did commercialism and short term prep.
i was gonna do short term prep and then half way through the intro relaised i couldnt remember the main points about nutrition or warm ups and so did feedback and technology which i waffl;ed through! and then i was going to do the commercialism one but then decided to do the role of sport in recognition, reconciliation and protest. i thought there was 3 nice questions there, didnt like that as i am really indecisive!!

lol that question about the community i had no idea what to write i think i made the same point 3 times to try and get more marks! but if you look at the mark scheme for pe it is really easy to get marks!!

you do have to know the sliding filament theory, i used t the sylabus as guide to what to revise and it was on there. but it didnt even come up!!
I did OCR and did rubbish :bawling: History wasn't too bad, but the Psych question was horrible - I couldn't remember anything about anxiety!!! As for the Synoptic, I did the Psych option but I couldn't remember what open/closed loop control was so made it up - I got home and checked what it was and I got it completely wrong - luckily I linked it to things I did know, so hopefully I'll get marks for that!!!
i was having a major panic before the exam, i did ocr but then it all seemed to come back to me when i sat down which was a relief!
the bloody exercise & physiology questions were HARD.
but the rest seemed okay, i quite enjoyed the sponsorship q!
