i just started not long ago, go nightly. I wear an addidas sports shirt or t -shirt. and Jogging bottoms, or nike 3/4 lengths. Fortunately not seen a girl at all while jogging, but i too am interested in other replies to this.

Well, I don't like jogging bottoms for some reason, and have bought cycling shorts and footy shorts.. so.. either of those

whatever your comfortable in, and dont hamper ur excercise, im thinking football shorts would be fine, not too constricting and very cool, especially in this heat.

If you're concerned about what anyone thinks, why not wear the lycra shorts under the football shorts, then you get the best of both worlds and don't have to worry about what anyone thinks of you're legs in lycra.

Personally I would say just go with whatever feels comfortable and you feel you can run best in.

I normally wear a climacool vest and shorts in summer with some fitted boxers as i need support and in winter normally longjohns ( dont laugh) tracksuit bottoms Under Armor and a training top I've never seen a girl while out running either...yet

If you wear tight lycra shorts and a gay shirt the chances are you will get shot on your jog. If I saw you, I'd probably do it myself.

You honestly see fit to post on a forum asking what you should wear to exercise???

What next? Advice on how best to cut your toe-nails?

Actually as everyone said that wear what ur comfortable in. But to be honest, if ur looking good and everyone notices u while crossing u feel better and that jogging energy jus comes into u. Hope that made sense.
Get some rugby shorts and don't even think about going out in just lycra. :dong:

I find it hard to believe that a teenager has to even ask for advice on what to wear to go jogging, really.

I'm not a guy, but what I wear is pretty much the last thing I think about when I go out for a run. It's usually one of my old sports tops and a pair of shorts - whatever's not in the wash!
i am an avid jogger, every alternate day,

and the place i live or happen to visit, its' the best time to bump into new people, i most of the times wear light yellow or white colours and yes remember not to wear your socks, it helps the feet to perspire,

and yes don’t forget to smile at girls passing by..

I find it hard to smile as i am trying to breath while running, especially as i get out of breath. Last year till January of this i went out jogging especially loving it on bitterly cold winters day and even on xmas day i went when it was frosty. I wore shorts even then but put on my hoodie. I usually take my MD player but as its bulky i have to hold it otherwise it weighs down the pockets of my shorts; so i should get an Ipod Nano however that wold be giving into satan! I did wear vests but was not the best thing to do in my area.
