Hi, please help!
Is there anyone who has any expieriences with interviews at KCL? I am invited to one,I'm an international student and I have absolutely no idea about what they're gonna ask me... About my personal statement, why I wanna study at their college ect? Or about the course I have applied for? What should I wear...? Will they ask me about the foreign language I have chosen?
Thanx for any help.. I have to be prepared

Hi

I've had 4 interviews for medicine...different course but i know that general trend is something like:

* How was your journey
* What brings you here / Why did you choose KCL
* Why do you want to do this course
* What do you know about the course (read prospectus)
* They will go through your personal statement for sure and ask questions on it..maybe if you had done work experience they will ask "what did you learn from it"..
* What qualities do you have that will be needed for that course
* What qualitites do you need to improve on
* They are keen on teamworking / communication skills..where have you shown such skills? maybe mention some extra curricular activities here.
* How do you control stress + not letting work get to you.
* What do you like about london
* Why have you chosen England
* Where do you see yourself in 10 / 20 yrs

thats basically it..make sure you read through your personal statement and work out what kind of questions they could possibly ask you from it, and prepare for them.

I'm sure you'll be fine.

Good luck.

No, I'm not indian, why do you think so? The nickname is a finnish name..

Anyway, I have a few more questions...
How many people interview you? Just one, or more? How long does it usually take?
In my country people have to pass written tests to get into university, so apart from a few exceptions, college interviews don't exist.. that's why I have sooo many questions...
