itchy lump

i have a really itchy lump on the top of my leg, its really red and has a little red scab in the middle of it. when i press it or touch it, it feels really hard and swollen.

i would go and see a doctor, but i used to self harm and its near a lot of scars, (which i never told anyone about) so i dont know what to do.

should i be worried, or is it just an insect bite?

u should of defo of gone to see someone about it?
they cant tell anyone about the scars?
and they probs wont ask?
u shud do in case theres something wrong?

My brother used have red lumps on his leg. Well he got it checked out and apparantly it was mosquito bites. The doctor then prescribed him some strong steriods and in a few months the lumps had gone so the best thing is to visit your docter even if you were self harming the docter is there to advice you and what been said to him/her remains confidential.
