Normal? Limited to 3 AS Levels, compulsory welsh baccalaureate

Went for an interview at college yesterday. Really wanted to study Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths at AS Level. The college says that I would only be allowed to choose 3 AS Levels as all A Level students there have to do the Welsh Baccalaureate qualification.

Is this normal for Welsh FE colleges? They tell me its worth 120 UCAS points (A at A2) so I'm guessing it sounds okay but I really wanted to take all 4 subjects.

In a pickle now; do I settle for 3 AS Levels or do AS Maths at home? I don't want to take on too much. I'll be doing voluntary work and doing 1 night a week BSL Level 1 (sign language) too.:confused::confused:
No it isn't. Welsh Baccalaureate is easy.

My school offered 4 A Levels, and Welsh Bacc was compulsory alongside them.
