Think about the frightening future that awaits for you if you do not have a decent degree

That's certainly bothers me...

Cut yourself, it will help.
What do you mean by that???

If you mean literally cut yourself, then i'd think you are extremely crazy...

How would cutting yourself help you study?????

And think about what your parents' going to say if you have poor grades... I don't really like to hear them nag at me.. and they will start saying that I am worse off than them etc etc...

Sorry this is suppose to be in the previous reply.. I kind of press the wrong button I was supposed to edit it..

I tell myself that it doesn't matter, it's not important. If I place too much importance on it, I don't bother and do other things instead.

I find that my will to study is strong just shortly after I wake up and shortly before I go to sleep. I also set myself fake deadlines and remind myself that unless it's done by so-and-so, I don't stand a chance at passing.

i don't have to motivate myself cos i have an unconditional offer and so it doesn't matter what i get in my psychology A level this year!!!! (but i have already done 5 A levels)
this year i can relax and enjoy the subject- but i have found i have done more this time round as i am enjoying it!!

motivation for study generally comes with the terror that my exam is next week and i have done absolutely nothing for it
i agree. Theres nothing better to get your motivation running than the thought of the exam being so soon.

Hey Guys!

How do you motivate yourself to study?
Easy, I think bin man or Investment banker.
The thought just makes me run upstairs and cram my head with useless information about vectors and what not.

Thinking about how I'll feel if I fail and get chucked out of uni...

And with that, I'm off to do some more revision
