First date help needed lol

Situation: basicaly me n a girl have been getting really close latley and we agreed to go out on a 'date' (we have ben out together before but only to places like the gym, or to a party, etc not where we are on our own) so anyway decided to go thurrsday during the day as that time worked out good for both us would usually go out after college but this lovley time of year where examinations are here is seriously reducing the free time i have due to revision..

Problem: cant really think of anywhere to go during a thursday daytime, thought about going to a pub we go to as a big group playing couple of games of pool etc.....not sure if this would be a womens idea of a date....i do have a car so it is possible to go out places. what im really asking is does anyone have any ideas where i could possibly take her, also what would be a ideal first date in the eyes of all you ladies out there what could i do?

dont take her to the pub...hardly romantic is it? its nice weather! take her out in your car somewhere an have a picnic :biggrin:

Yeah, do you live near a beach? Or somewhere with a nice view and grass, maybe for a picnic to make the most of the sun? Or bowling perhaps?

I wouldn't be best pleased if a guy took me to the pub for a first date!

not near a theme park or a beach living in the midlands.....hmmm maybe go to a country park....i got hayfever tho harldy attractive me sittin there with ma nose drippin all over the place....

A pub could work if it was a nice country pub with a garden bit where you could have a meal and a drink and get to know each other. The weather's perfect for something like that.

The cinema isn't a great idea if you want to talk to her.
