No jeans, no trainers so what?

I'm going clubbing with a no jeans and no trainers policy. Any suggestions on what to wear would be incredibly helpful.

Pretty much anything you can think of that would fit in with this(that isn't stupid and is cool :cool:

) and I'll see if I have something to match.

If I sound clueless, it's because I am. :redface:

More gigs than clubs usually and you could wear anything to them.

just some smart black trousers and black shoes jazzed up with a snazzy shirt always looks really nice imo, plain and simple, smart and sophisticated cant go wrong

If it was my choice I would. Stupid dress code. I don't want to have to wear neat clothes, so I'm going to try and get away with tidy but casual, its the shoes that are worrying me because I don't want work type shoes or school shoes.

Many thanks to everyone thats put in advice/ideas. The **** goes down saturday so anything that you think of today/ tomorrow just stick it in, can't hurt.

Have a look through the casual shirts on the topman and burton websites. Imo it looks really nice when a guy wears one of the short sleeved checked shirts that are around now.

Ewwww smart black trousers and shoes....

If you dont want to look like a dressed up chav how about some nice casual grey trousers, like carhartt ones. Or pinstripped grey ones. Grr i now exactly what i'm talking about and can completely picture it in my head.

Have a look at a few pics of Adam Brody, he often wears those kind of trousers. I'll post a pic if i find one.

long sleeved white shirt, sleeves rolled up til just before the elbow, black tie.

kinda indie-ish look. shirt + tie = stunning on the right boy.

I just had a dig and it looks like I may have thrown out any reasonable shoes I had, oh well, guess that means tomorrow I go and buy some- that means anything I wants (at a semi reasonable price) I can get.

I don't know whether I like shopping or not. :biggrin:

My boyfriend usually wears a nice shirt (usually a black and white diagonally stripe one), trousures but not jeans, shoes and gels his hair. Looks gorgous!

just go to next and get a shirt, a pair of trousers and some shoes. I'm suprised you can't wear some smart jeans, they look gorge with a shirt and shoes!
