In my experience of relationships, younger lads probabily not prefer virgins. When you get older however lads they appreciate you not jumping into bed at first chance. So if your still a virgin, dont lose it til your ready. The real deal men wont care either way, they will only care about you, not your sexual experience.

well at 16 you're only just now legal so i think it would be expected for you to be a virgin...
Can't speak for all guys, but personally I'd definitely prefer them to be a virgin, no doubt about it, I'm Christian which I guess is partly why I think this, but personally a girl who shows restraint and only gets together with a guy when she is in a serious relationship and in the belief that they would spend their life together is great. TBH at 16 if the girl wasn't a virgin it'd be a turn off for me, I think its great for a girl to be a virgin at any age, if they haven't met the right person yet, someone who they intend to be with forever then they should stay a virgin and not just have sex for the heck of it, and I also think the same thinking should apply to guys. (but no-one seems to agree with me)

I don't see why anyone who was truly interested in you would mind either way.

I'm not a guy, but I don't care whether a guy is a virgin or not.
None of my male friends seem to care about the girl, either. As long as she hasn't been with everything that moves it doesn't really matter.

I agree with you. I agree but I don't think I've fully stuck to what I believe, but I fully agree anyway.
let me ask who can provide professional advice on this matter?

Do lads prefer girls (aged about 16) to be a virgin or not?

Should that really matter when you are in love with somebody?
squirly

Unless they'd prefer everything to be perfect?
I dunno, the only reason I'm posting anonymously is because, well you know the odd guy that'll tease, anyway, I'm a virgin and a guy, I'm 17 and soon to be 18, for some reason the fact that most of my friends have lost it and like 2 years ago makes me uncomfortable even though they seem to be fine with the idea of me being one and have told me.
I am however a virgin by choice, and am waiting for the right girl, who I hope will be a virgin, I just think both should experience it at the same time, no matter how bad it will be the first time. But that's just me.
I mean, I have had the chance, honestly, like I do get with girls at parties and stuff, and more than most of my non-virgin friends in fact, but yeah, I think that I need a virgin and a good relationship beforehand.
