girl i like

hi, im 14, turning 15 in a couple of weeks.
there is a girl at school that i like and have liked for some time. I dont really know her that well and weve never really had a real convo but she is in some of my classes.
i was wondering if i should get to know here before asking her out or would you kind of freak out is someone started to become really friendly with you then asked you out a couple of weeks after because you knew what they wanted all along.
Im not in a hurry to go out with her, so ive got plenty of time.
What should i do
Also, what kind of stuff could i do to kind of hint that i like her but not too obvious that its a turn off

I was in a simliar situation with my first girlfriend (at about the same age)...

Although it turned out that she liked me as well, and she asked me out first... :smile:

We didn't know each other too well, but we did sit next to each other for one lesson, so we did talk a little bit.

I say to try and start up a conversation if you get the opportunity and see how it goes from there.

thanks, im in 2 of her classes and her form class. I dont know what she thinks of me, but she seems nice and has never been nasty to me so i dont think she dislikes me. i dont want to seem to pushy by suddenly talking alot so ill take it slow
