No no it isn't just about wanting to go to university, wanting to achieve a degree. You have to actually be very good at the subject, motivated to learn. Too many students are going to universities (albeit not good ones) with very poor grades, even in the subject they have chosen to study, partly I assume to 'get drunk'; etc.
It depends on your mental ability, which will determine how well you will cope with the level of knowledge you will require to withstand the course you choose. Your attitude is important too, because you need more than brains to get a degree, you need initiative, and motivation.
Basically, apply, and if you get in, you'll be able to tell within a couple of months whether you're going to be able to hack it or not.

You dont have to be good university material, must schools or collages will bully you in to going anyway cause it makes them look good!
