The skin on your face is generally more sensitive, where as body lotions are generally formulated to deal with rough 'problem' areas like elbows and knees.

You might find that a body lotion is too heavy for your face...

Depends on your skin type etc though...

It depends on your skin really. If your skin's quite oily, then a body moisturiser may make it look really greasy.

Depends on the moisturiser too. Some will be more suited than others.

I personally use Nivea creme on my face and on any dry parts of my body. It's dirt cheap and a tub lasts you AGES (I've used about half a tub in a year, using it at least twice a day).

Ok thanks, I have pale sensitive skin I used nivea last year and for some reason i got 2 red patches round my eyes I think I was allergic as it went worse when I went out in the sun. Ive used nivea since though and its not done any harm so I never found out what that was really. My skin also goes red when I use the e45 facial mositurisor (even on my arms) which is strange since its not supposed to have many chemicals in, yet the e45 body moisturiser Ive been ok with so I might start using it on my face.
