how to phrase the hypothesis?

can anyone please tell me how to phrase the hypothesis if the experiment is about :


finding out a particular value like finding out the internal resistance of a cell

finding out a characteristic like finding out if a compound pendulum follows simple harmonic motion




please someone help!

Then.........
Because........

You can use phrases which you would use, if you write an essay. I think about these ones:

- As we can see...
- First I want to explain, why...
- If we have a closer look at...
- In my point of view/ in my opinion...

Just to name but a few. I guess these ones are proper enough to phrase your hypotheses to certain experiments.

so, a hypothesis is basically what you think will be the outcome of the experiment.

The hypothesis should be phrased as a definite statement, not what "you think will be the outcome".

If your experiment is just classwork then if you told us what the experiment is it would help (but definitely don't tell us if it's a controlled assessment that goes towards a qualification!)

Yes you should say

If......what you are going to do in your experiment
Then........ What you think will happen
Because........ Explain the science
