Boots refund policy on faulty items

ok,basically i brought a Philips Tresseme hairdryer for £19.99 from Boots in April and when i was using it the other day it just stopped working:frown: so i got my dad to change the fuse and the next time i used it it stopped working as well, im gonna take it back to Boots but i cant find the receipt, but the box does still have the yellow Boots sticker that says Security Protected and has a Boots sticker over the barcode,
will i be able to exchange it for another hairdryer (of a different brand) or will i be able to get a refund?
any help appreciated

Hi i work at boots and at my stor if you have a recipt youl get a refund and if you have not youll get an exchange but because it is faulty they may give you a refund any ways.
