accommodation deposits

Hi, does anybody know when deposits are returned for University of Manchester accommodation that first years paid before moving in last summer? thanks.

It would have been automatically deducted from your last accommodation payment, so you've effectively already had it back.

Yes. It wasn't strictly speaking a deposit, it was a pre-payment anyway.

If you look back at your bank statements, then you should find that your last payment was £400 lower than the previous ones.

Ahh I see. I suppose it's another way of securing the room with a nice "discount" for the last installment; which I'm sure is welcome coming up to Summer.
