run with dumbells? or run then do some weights when you get back and are nice and warmed up. do fairly weight weights but quite a few reps, try cans of beans maybe if you don't have dumbbells

Yep, cardio will lose weight all across your body. As said, if you want to get it a bit more refined, i'd suggest doing some weights.

running is ESPECIALLY good for your arms...and stomach...and legs...and basically everywhere...especially the back.

no but swimming is basically as good. see, running, a lot of times gives you big thigh muscles so if you don't like that, then i would advise swimming. it gives you a more toned look instead of just building muscle and loosing fat.
I am doing a lot of Yoga at the moment, and have noticed a definate change in my overall appearence. I'm not overweight nor really thin, but since I've taken yoga classes like 2-3x week, I've discovered my body is much toner than beforhand.

I've tried running alot...which really only toned my legs, but thats just me

I prefer yoga or ballet/modern dance as my form of excercise :p:
