I don't think I want to start yet really. Might do some for english and film studies but taking psych in a year means I've only just started unit 5 work (ie. today).. want to wait til I get some of that done til I get onto revision.

I've started doing past papers - imo that's the best way to revise. You go through some papers, and if there's any topics you're not that good at, go to the textbook (for maths) and do some exercises for them, or for economics - read over past notes.

Having sent off my uni reply, I'm determined to work this year (as opposed to last year where I slacked a bit) so as not to be disappointed come results day.

No one I know has ever started revision in September  It's the amount of revision you do, rather than when you start it. Not that I actually know anyone who's actually started before March at the latest?

One person I know started in February/March and revised about 120 hours per exam = 10 A*s.

I started revision in Study Leave and revised about three hours per exam with the same result. And always either the night before or the morning before the exam (get up at 4 am). Personally, I find that a lot more effective...

However, for ASs I plan to start, um, in April. Maybe. *coughs*

(Yes, hopeful plan. Overly optimistic, I'd say)
