tell her the truth theres no point lying to her n making her feel happy then making her unhappy. perhaps you cud b jus friends?

Tell her. Say it nicely but she's got to know. If you make up a stupid excuse she's likely to see straight through it and be hurt that you weren't straight with her.

Just say, you think she's a nice person but you don't really see think of her in that way. She'll get the message and you aren't being too harsh.

Tell her straight, but in the nicest possible way. She'll be upset for a while but it's best that you don't leave her with false hopes - a stupid excuse might leave her with the impression that things could change in the future.

Honesty's the best policy, but do it in a sincere way please.

Yes, and please don't say "I like you as a sister/friend" - just say you don't have feelings for her. Or say "You don't get my juices flowing" etc.

Just say she is a nice pretty girl but you don't feel that way about her.
Reply 9
tell her the truth. there is no point in stringing her along, because it may break her heart when you finally tell her.

definitely tell the truth, finding out that you've been led on is the worst feeling in the world

wholeheartedly agree with you there. that feeling sucks so much.

just tell her straight that you don't see her in that way, it'll be hard for her at the time but leading her on will upset her more in the long run. and after you've told her, DO NOT continue flirting with her and acting as if you're interested.*

*sorry, started talking from experience, not implying you do any of this

Sorry to muscle in on this, but I have as imilar situation. A girl likes me, and she basically told me this, and keeps trying to talk to me, and hang out with me, but I keep brushing her off, and it seems pretty clear "no i don't want to be with you" yet she won't leave me alone! Should I just tell her, broach the topic? Or keep ignoring her until she gets the point?

I think you should tell her because she doesn't know for sure does she? You have to be honest with her or she'll keep kidding herself. xx
