Strange Throat Problem

OK something strange keeps happening in my throat.

For no apparent reason, sometimes my oesophagus (sp?) seems to feel like it is in a knot (next to my Adam's apple - I am a guy). It is a little painful, but its a little more disconcerting than painful.

Now, if I lift my head up or swallow, it kinda clicks back in to place and "straightens up" - the reason I am posting is I am a little worried. Before this happened maybe once a week, now it seems to be happening most days.

I dunno what it could be, any suggestions? Thanks :biggrin:

i have something weird with my throat as well. Sometimes its just really hard to swallow, and feel something at the bottom left of my neck, then it just goes.

mad4it, is there a lump there? if there is i would say get it checked, same to OP, if it's chronic, painful or worrying/distressing then maybe see your gp. maybe it has something to do with your jaw clicking?

get a scan done. now!!!!
