Rough jeans wore off skin

My fav jeans go all the way up to just below the belly button. When I button it up its very tight against my tummy and walking or sitting down, makes the top bit rub against the skin roughly, at first I didnt mind, but when I took them off, I saw that it had rubbed/wore the skin alot. I mean the bit right under the button at the top of the jeans has wore my skin under my bellybutton. It's pinky/brown.

Its very sore, what is it? A blister? I hope its not gonna be a permanent scar  How can I get rid of it and ease the pain?

Don't wear those jeans again, and maybe invest in a healing cream

just chuck some savlon on it hunni

It just sounds like abrasions, unless there is a bubble of some form...so perhaps find some jeans which are a little looser...

All my jeans are tight  I dont wear loose jeans. But yeah it was only this pair that has ever done this, so I will chuck them away no matter how much it hurts me to do it :bawling: :p:

Thanks, I dont think there is any healing creams or savlon in the house, what else could I use?

yoghurt? No idea to be honest...savlon would be the best because it is antiseptic aswell, hence it wont get infected.

And, no need to throw them away - they could easily be "softened up".etc.

ok thanks Toby, I'll go out and get some

If you really dont want to part with the jeans then put vaseline on next time. Believe me, stops any kind of chafing. Just come back from a trek and that was what we were all told to do for any kind of soreness/chafing.

Wash/soak the jeans in softner, it might help reduce the friction which had caused the friction burn on your tum.

I didn't know they still sell jeans that go to high. They're all hip height these days. Sucks when your underwear is a normal height. :s:

I used to get that off my old jeans, turned out it was an allergy to the metal the button was made out of. :/
