How far is your school/college from your house? And how do you travel everyday?

Hello everyone! Just a thread to talk about the above title and anything else relevant.
I’ll start...
My primary school was across the road from my house and my current school is 20 minutes by bus.
The college i will be going to in september is 4.8 miles from my house 1 hour by taking 2 buses

My college is literally a 10 minute walk down the road! 7 on a good day:biggrin:

When I was at school, it was a 20 minute walk.

That said, after I passed my driving test, I drove. Got me an extra 15 minutes in bed.
I started off saying I'd only drive if it was raining.. yeah, that didn't work. Also meant I could go to McDonalds at lunch.

My primary school was a couple of minutes away (next street) and my secondary school took me five minutes to get to.

Uni I lived on campus first year and that took 30 seconds to get from my halls to the lecture theatre.

Then second and third year I decided to move and do a 2 hour each way commute. That was a shock to the system! It was a walk, a bus, a walk, a train, then another long walk. Fun fun!

My sixth form college was around 25 minutes from home.

school- 25 min walk, 15 with a bus
sixth form- 40 min walk, 30 with a bus

both were really awkward places and you still had to walk after getting off a bus.

My school was more or less around the block, it took about 10 minute walk to get there. Sixth form was a half an hour walk. I used to take a bus to Uni and I walk to work, it takes 15 minutes.

When I was at school and sixth form (same place), it was 20 minutes on the first bus, then take the tube (along the piccadilly line for 10 minutes). Then a 10 minute walk to my school.

It was definitely tiring, but just something I had to put up with really! I now work from home so am making up for the long commute. My commute these days is approximately 2ft.

It's like a 10-15 mins journey by car. 20-25 mins by bus. In the morning, I get dropped while in the afternoon, I come by bus.

It takes me about 15-20 minutes to walk to the school I was at (lower school & sixth form) and on the odd occasion that I'd go in the car it would take 5 minutes
