Hi all, hope seniors who may have been through this can offer some advice. I have been doing some translation work now and then to earn pocket money.

If I study in UK on a Student Visa, will I be able to continue my translation work (as long as it is within the 20hours per week limit)?

I notice that 'self-employment' is not allowed.
However, if an individual/company award me a translation project from my profile on oDesk, am I allowed to take it?
Does working online count?
Is this considered self-employment, though technically I am called a contractor on oDesk and the client chooses to start or end what-they-call a contract?

Thank you!!
