hi

I have the following queries as to the calculation of total shareholder return;

1) is it the same thing as the real total shareholder return?

2) When using the dividends paid, is it all dividends paid in that year irregardless of when they were declared or is it dividends paid that were declared that year only

I hope someone can help me.
Thank you

Not sure what you mean by 'real total shareholder return'. but answering your second question:

Dividend 'paid' includes all the payments of dividends made in that particular financial year,regardless of when they were declared. E.g. it can include dividends which were declared in previous year but not paid, ie were in arrears.

Hope this helps
