Independent student
Hi everyone. Can anyone shed some light on applying for a maintenance grant as an independent student. Do I still need to supply my parents income details or just my own? Thanks in advance!
Hi there,
If you are above the age of 25, you would be automatically considered to be an Independent Student.
If you are under the age of 25, we would need evidence to confirm the information given on the application as to the reason why you consider yourself independent - e.g. estranged from your parents.
