Do I try and contact again?
Hello, so long story fairly short. I went out with this girl for over two years and we were in love, she moved to uni and couldn't cope with a relationship at the time so she dumped me over the phone in the middle of my exams and never spoke to me again. It was brutal. 6 months later and I still miss her to bits. Do I try contacting her again? She broke my heart but I still care deeply for her. Sigh.

Well, think about it. What will you gain from contacting her? Think she'll run back into your arms? She had 6 months to do that, and she didn't.
OP, she hasn't even attempted to contact you in 6 months. It's over. The best thing you can do is preserve your dignity and move on.
